Richard/Rich was so amazing at helping me find the perfect shoes. He was so informative and explained everything so well for me. We went through a ton of different shoes to make sure I found ones that were ideal. I have size 11 feet and was so embarrassed about it he helped me not feel so self conscious. I greatly appreciate that he was on shift to help me. Such a great and fun guy to talk to. You have an amazing employee! ?

I always love shopping at REI! The employees are really friendly and make sure to ask you if you need help. Prices are a little in the higher end but the quality is well worth.

REI was great. Got fitted for an osprey backpack. It was great and Lori was wonderful. She asked plenty of questions to ensure we made the right choice for my wife and I. Preparing for the way of St. James in Europe, REI was a no Brainer. The folks at REI are very knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel comfortable asking any questions with confidence. I went to REI for the first time. My children love buying hiking and camping products from REI and have a well worthwhile membership to earn points and money back at the end of the year. They have a bike shop located in the store for repairs. The service was good. They have many different products including bikes, tents, sleeping bags, shoes, dried foods, watches, jackets, clothing, canoes and many more items.

Always great staff, well versed in outdoors gear. We've bought everything from snowboarding equipment to rock climbing gear here and because we're members, we always save at least 10%. I always check out their used gear collection because sometimes you stumble across an amazing deal. I got a barely used Osprey full backpack that usually retails in the $250 range for $55. I've also gotten barely used climbing shoes for 75% off. Check the used bins first.

Oh, what a store? When your friend says it’s time to clip in, you meet up at REI with your bike and go shopping. We were on a mission to find cycling cleats, clips, pedals AND trail shoes. When I tell you the REI team is amazing trust me… they absolutely are! Specifically the manager Hannah, Chris and Keith. All of whom assisted us. They catered to us and made sure we were well taken care of. Hannah had her team add clips to our cleats and pedals to our bikes while we shopped for our new trail shoes. Be prepared to spend some time here if you’re looking for camping, climbing, cycling, paddling or traveling gear. REI has something for everyone in store and online. This is my new favorite recreational equipment store. You can always tell when employees love what they do and appreciate their customers. Hannah and her team were very accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, patient and all provided exceptional service! REI offers a membership that is well worth the $30. Become a member and you’ll have 365 days to return items. Members enjoy low cost bike repairs and flats are fixed for free! There’s so much more, so I suggest you stop in and see for yourself. REI had me at hello ? The location is great… minutes from White Rock Lake and Northpark Mall. There’s plenty of parking and they are less than 1/2 mile from Central Expressway which makes them easy to get to.

Not the largest REI I’ve been to, but well stocked and the folks working there are helpful and pleasant. I needed replacement inserts for my hiking books. With tiny feet and high arches I thought it would be difficult but I found the perfect fit right away with the help from staff in the shoe department. This store doesn’t have as much variety in hiking shoes and boots, but overall I like shopping at this location.
