Did a gun transfer here, super easy. They also put 2 on one DRO which is always better. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable. Huge selection of guns, don't think I've seen a store with more shotguns. Huge selection of fishing tackle aimed at delta and local lakes. Cool store stop by and check it out.

Best selection of consignment and new firearms I have found in pretty much all of the Sacramento and Stockton area. Great accessories and ammo as well. Fishing section also is amazing and I could probably spend my entire life savings here if I’m not careful. Damn you outdoor sportsman, take all of my money and just keep being awesome!

I always enjoy their selection of product, the reason for the low stars is because the customer service employees in the gun section was pretty dull and made me feel brain dead when I asked questions, I notice there is always one employee like this at every gun store smh, the man’s name escapes me but he was probably around 5 foot 4, if it wasn’t for the man at the front counter in the entrance this would be a two star, the man at the front provided a great mood and didn’t seem miserable at least in my presence also gave me great information

The store has good inventory of camping and hunting gear, I've bought a few firearms here they've had pretty good deals but some of the workers at the gun counter not all but some have really bad customer service, no help they barely even want to do there job almost like they hate there job,they definitely need better training or find another job that doesn't require helping people because there definitely not suited for that type of job.

PLEASE DONT EVER COME TO THIS STORE THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL AS A FIRST TIME BUYER I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO BE EXCITED I WENT TO THIS STORE AND GAVE THEM EVERYTHING THEY NEED FROM MY I.d TO SHOWING THEM MY LICENSE HE THEN TOLD ME I HAD TO WAIT 10 days SO I GO BACK AND THE GUYS TWLL ME I WOULDN’T BE ABLE TO GET MY GUN BECAUSE IN THE SYSTEM THE GUY PUT DRIVER LICENSE INSTEAD OF I.d MIND YOU I TRAVEL FROM OAKLAND TO STOCKTON HE THEN SAID THAT I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 10days FOR MY GUN SO I ASKED FOR A REFUND BUT HE SAID I WILL NOT GET THE FULL AMOUT DO TO THE BACKGROUND SO I PAID FOR NOTHING VER UNTRAINED PEOPLE AND ALSO THEY WERE TO BUSY TO DEAL WITH ME BECAUSE THEY WERE WATCHING SOMEONE IN THE STORE THAT MIGHT HAVE STEAL VERY RUDE PEOPLE NEVER AGAIN

I came to Outdoor Sportsman to do a Private Party Transfer with a co worker of mine. The first Employee I spoke to was extremely rude to me and about to turn me away because I didn’t have two forums of ID. My co worker told them to show my guard card and exposed firearm permit. It worked but the Employee looked extremely annoyed that my co worker told me last minute and I was able to start the process. The Employe said it’ll be a while, walks away and proceeds to assist multiple customers. After 45 minutes of waiting we ask a different Employee how long the wait was. In a rude tone he told us that since we aren’t buying a gun directly from them they are going to assist every customer in the store before us and anybody else who walks in. I told him that’s fine and he cut me off and said, “You’re better off going to “Other Gun Store Name it’s gonna be a while you guys aren’t top priority. I told him we will just wait because it’s already been an hour. The third employee who began to do my paperwork wasn’t rude but just seemed extremely unhappy that he was assisting me. The previous customer he helped had him smiling and had good small talk about random stuff. It felt like I was a burden and they didn’t want me in their shop nor did they want to deal with me. I’ve never felt this at any other Gun Store I’ve been too.
