This is worst place to go, I will not recommend buying or getting anything transferred from this place. Theres a grumpy old white guy that help me, as soon as you walk in youll see how irritated and angry he looks, he doesnt want to help or be there at all. It makes you feel like youre not welcome there. Definitely would not be doing business with them again

RUDE! Let me start my saying that! They have 0% customer service. When you’re calling and asking questions they seem annoyed, irritated and angry. No friendliness or customer service at all! I will NEVER get a handgun transferred here again! He kept acting like I didn’t have my paper work to pick it up. Why do I need to prove I did an application if I’m showing you the proper identification that came from the State Police.

Great store in the immediate waldorf area.

Made multiple special orders of firearms with no issues and were relatively competitive to online prices (they will text you updates on your purchase).

What I found most helpful was that Freds simplified NFA suppressor purchases walking me through the kiosk with photos and fingerprints and very knowledgeable of the process.

The younger gentleman with the dark longer beard is awesome and will take care of you.

Very happy with Fred's. I had a bad/wrong BCG on my AR15 and called to ask if they sold them. Brad told me they did and seemed to know exactly what was wrong with my AR over the phone. I got there and Joe told me in Laymens terms what I needed and what he would get. I followed his advice and it worked. Thank you very much!

My experience wasn’t that great I feel when you came in there the gentlemen that works behind the counter has attitudes and wasn’t very helpful like you owe them something the only person that I had a pleasant experience with was the lady that handles the range very pleasant very helpful. Everyone else special gentleman with the beard was nasty. This would be my last time dealing with them, the other young lady’s that work in the front are helpful

Great selection on firearms. I had a previous issue and was contacted the next morning by Brad addressed my issue and got it resolved and ultimately change my thought about not returning to Fred’s great Job. See you again soon.

Space Man

During my first visit to this place, as soon as I walked in, I sought advice from an associate. There was a young black girl at the right of the front door whom I asked about ammo and training courses. Unfortunately, she did not seem enthusiastic or eager to answer my questions and was condescending with a bad attitude, which made me feel uncomfortable about the environment and other employees. Hence, I'm giving two stars.

However, as I browsed the store and went to the ammo section, my experience quickly changed when a young guy asked if I needed help or had any questions about the store. Regrettably, I had to leave for my break and did not want to interrupt him from assisting another customer. Five stars for him – thanks for your generosity!

I understand that someone may be having a bad day or facing personal issues, but it's important not to bring those issues to work, as it can negatively impact relationships with customers and the overall business.

Went to pick up my item from repair, came in took a number and was prepared to wait. While waiting young man asked could he help and actual did! He took my invoice, brought my item to me, and explained repair, then helped me make a purchase! Even though the store was empty compared to the weekend, i was treated well by him and front counter, and appreciate it.
Sometimes you have short and to the point when busy, i say that to advise people who come in on the weekend or when it crowded.....its just business professional not rude at all!
