I am sad to say that the bait shop is closed the gentleman that was running. It is no longer there. I went by there couple days ago to talk to him very nice man very very nice man, but everything is gone. He has closed the shop. When he was there, he gave five star service. He gave excellent advice. He is bilingual if he was making lunch the shop owner always offered you lunch to eat lunch with him. Sorry to see him go .Very very nice man.

My son and I went on the gator tour and we were referred to this bait shop. My son really wanted shiners to fish with. The gentleman offered us a bucket to put the fish in since we did not have one. He could have easily said sorry. They are about helping out and making sure (especially kids) enjoy the sport of fishing. I don’t live in Florida, the owner did not know me and he trusted me to bri g him back his bucket, and kept my word. Really nice place and I will definitely be back to get more bait next time we visit Florida!! Thank you

Awesome shop best in the state for fresh water baits selection is huge for softbaits and everything else. They have a wall of really nice custom hand made local lures too, they also have live shiners.
Pat the owner took my son and I who both fish like crazy out to bass fish and we crushed it with a few over 5lbs and one slob

Great place to stay if fishing any of the local lakes. More than enough room for several boats and trailers. The house is very clean, beds were great, nicely furnished. Definitely would recommend.

Shop has all you need. Great shiners, artificial, terminal Tackle, maps and Pat is a great guy. Happy to share information and very amiable. First stop every trip!

Stopped in last Friday,met the guys there had a good time hanging out on our way to the lake!Pat hooked us up with some Wild Shiner's,(the cold front equalizer)?.For Saturday morning caught 20 to 25 there Sat.morning before the storm came through and had to head back home! Look forward to getting back down there someday!What did you guys think about the steak!?

Extremely poor business ethics. Have been denyed live shiners numerous times now was told that if I call ahead and reserve I would absolutely have bait for planned fishing trips. So I called yesterday and reserved 3 dozen shiners and was told that I would absolutely have them for today had family from out of town planning this trip for well over a month. Woke up at 5am on a Sunday morning drove over an hour to pick up family and get to bait shop to be told that our guarantee meant nothing and the dozens of shiners they have were guaranteed to someone else this very morning when I had reserved them the night before. And was told to have a nice day as I was leaving so not only is our day destroyed but family is devastated. This is NOT the 1,2,3 time this has happened to me. I do not understand why someone else’s money, time and fishing trip is more important than mine.

I love this place Melissa and Danielle were awesome. The bait store is fully stocked for all your fishing needs and the bar next to it has great service and food. I will definitely be returning
