I need to be very careful when buying trainers because of my very dodgy knees. I saw Haitham today in Runners Need and was so unbelievably impressed with his knowledge of the best shoes for bad knees. He was so patient and knowledgeable and I would recommend this shop (and specifically Haitham) for anyone who needs this kind of help and advice. Thanks Haitham!

Today I visited Cotswold Outdoors Islington, Runners Need section. I have complex foot and spine issues and needed a cushioned trainer as advised by my surgeon. I was assessed and advised by Haitham who is knowledgeable, hugely professional, kind, patient and I watched him serving customers with the same care as he gave me. He took my history and researched which trainer would have the correct heel drop for my spine problems. I could not have been luckier. I thoroughly recommend this branch and Haitham. He is a gem. Thank you, Haitham. The shoes are great! I will be back for another pair.

Was served by a lovely gentlemen here today, but sadly I had to witness his I’m assuming manager (english lady i believe) belittling him and telling him off right in front of me. I felt embarrassed for the guy. Bought the shoes out of pity. What a condescending rude lady.

Had excellent service, the staff were really attentive and knew all the answers to my questions and helped me pick out the kit for my hiking trip (which all performed excellently on the hikes)
