Super helpful staff and great array of products. The salesman listened to my needs, asked questions and had me do some physical movements to assess my running needs. Based on his assessment, he brought out three pairs of shoes for me to try on. I left with an awesome pair of shoes. I ran in them an hour or so after shopping, and they were amazing - just what I was looking for. Highly recommend this shop and their friendly, knowledgable staff.

After a specialty running store in my neighborhood (which wasn't great anyway and declining fast) closed I had to branch out to find something similar in neighboring areas and I'm glad I did. I needed new running shoes, and had also been experiencing an unfortunate recurrence of some achilles tendonitis. Beth could not have been more helpful - she listened carefully to my rambling history of running and running sneakers :-), made some astute observations about my current sneakers which I had worn in to the store, and selected three styles for me to try, all from different brands. After trying all on, and testing them on the fun in store walking path, I selected my new pair and have been thrilled with them. I also picked up a very functional running belt - the third one I've tried - but this one actually works. I plan to return for my running shoe needs.

Had an awesome experience buying a new pair of running shoes here! On my first visit, they were very patient and helpful with putting forward a selection of shoes to try. They didn’t have the exact colour I wanted in stock but no worries though—they transferred them from another store and shipped right to my place. Then when the shoes didn’t quite work out, they were super cool about exchanging them.

Dania was amazing—she took the time to understand my gait and recommended shoes that really fit my needs. Plus, she was so friendly and inspiring that I’m now thinking about running a half marathon!

I’m really happy with my new shoes and the great service I got. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place!

Experience: initially I passed by on a weekend and was overwhelmed with the amount of people in there. It was a bit intimidating as a new runner. However I came on a weekday morning and it was much more calm.

I Came in for a fitting of new shoes. Was assisted immediately. I let the associate whose name I think started with a T and sounded like Tiffan? Sorry if I’m butchering it. Regardless they were very helpful and patient. I let them know about my pancake feet and issues I have with my current shoes. They were able to recommend 3 pairs of shoes to try on.

The shop: clean and tidy. Very nicely lit.

Staff: friendly and polite. Patient. Understanding.

Overall: 5/5 store and staff. Will be coming back for my shoe and foot needs.

I don't run, but I needed to find comfortable shoes because I walk long distance very often. I visited a couple of brand shoe stores and couldn't find anything that worked, so I am so extremely grateful that Melissa helped me find the perfect pair! The whole experience was super friendly and helpful, and the shoe recommendations were spot on for my feet. She asked me questions and listened to my thoughts on each shoe. In the end, I bought the first pair she showed me because they were already a great fit and were exactly what I was looking for. Melissa also helped my mom get her own pair of shoes too. Highly recommend coming here!

We were walking through Park Slope on our way to the Brooklyn Museum., visiting from The Rose City. We saw the shop and had to check it out. Great greeting the moment we walked through the door. The customer service was terrific. The staff was knowledgeable. Super cool experience. And there is nothing like supporting a local running shop.

I've run by Brooklyn Running Company countless times during my runs, always thinking I'd stop in one day. Well, I finally did, and I'm so glad! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the store's aesthetics, welcoming vibe, and friendly staff. Training for my first marathon in October '24, I needed a new pair of running shoes. The staff was incredibly patient, helping me try on multiple pairs to find the perfect fit. I felt genuinely cared for and never rushed. I'll definitely be returning. Highly recommend!
