Just been down to the shop and it's an aladdin's cave for outdoors ppl, picked up some exped stuff that was needed. They have all aspects of hiking to wild camping gear/kit with price ranges for everyone. They also sell specialized gear for proper wild cams & really do know there stuff, that was obvious from the second i spoke to them. I will definitely be returning because it's a brilliant well presented shop, with friendly staff who actually use the gear they sell at a good price ?

Was looking for a new trangia when came across tamarack website. Great find ? was cheapest around .
Ended up getting some accessories and DD tarp poles I’d been wanting to as they cheapest I’d seen them.

A truly superb customer service that Tamarack Outdoors provide, very informative and helpful in ensuring the advice they give is not only helpful, but also to give experience on the products that I was buying! I'm not based locally, so they were found online. I've ordered from them three times now and would highly using them. They had the best price in the UK for an Exped duo mat I was looking for. Can't fault service / delivery time, they arranged for expedited shipping without additional charge to avoid royal mail strikes slowing down delivery. Would highly recommend.

Amazing selection of stock. Some brands that I struggle to get elsewhere, such as Savotta.

I have ordered from the site and been in store and been impressed with the service provided. Having lived in Garstang for years, I had no idea this place was just a two minute drive away.

If you’re nearby and your keen on outdoor gear, I suggest you head in and take a look around. There are tents setup on display and there’s even a selection of second hand items.

My only suggestion would be that prices are displayed as it can be difficult making purchases without knowing, and checking the website whilst in the store felt counterintuitive.

I highly recommend Tamarack and support a local business when you can. I’ll be returning to pick up from petromax stuff in the autumn.

I don't use Tamarack Outdoors very often but when I do their website is easy to use and always has great products at good prices and you are then served by experienced friendly staff if you use the click n collect service they offer. ?⛺?⛰️
